Embroidery engineering + hand-sewers coordination. All made in NYC.
One of the most engineered embroidery I’ve ever created. I was in charge of creating the handmade embroidery techniques based on Jane Wade’s artwork, and making the whole embroidery. I had to find the solution giving the illusion of this open motif connected by mother-of-pearl precious pearls and leather cords. I directed a team of 7 hand workers during 6 full weeks of intricate labor
